Rumplestiltskin is a tale from The Brothers Grimm.  It is a  story of a miller who falsely tells the King that his daughter can spin straw into gold. The king then locks her in a room and demands that she perform this feat. Rumplestiltskin rescues her but at great cost and she must solve a puzzle in order to be free of his demands.
