Profile
For over 25 years I have worked with individuals and couples facing emotional, physical and spiritual challenges. My approach to therapy is heart-centered and holistic. I often utilize guided imagery and hypnotherapy in my work with clients.

I have pursued advanced training in guided imagery, hypnotherapy, and somatic healing through many sources including the Institute for Health Psychology, National Institute for the Clinical Application for Behavioral Medicine, Wellness Institute’s Heart Centered Hypnotherapy, and the Academy of Guided Imagery.

I am a 1980 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Social Work. In North Carolina I provided counseling in a variety of settings including: an integrative holistic medical practice, an oncology clinic, hospice and home health care. I joined Partners in Healing of Minneapolis 3 years ago- an integrative holistic center for healing.

My special interests include facilitating wellness workshops and retreats that incorporate guided imagery, journaling, art, and movement.

My personal journey includes parenting my two now grown sons, experiencing divorce and remarriage, and facing the challenges of illness in my family and myself. These experiences have led me to navigating through the maze of alternative and traditional healing modalities and discovering the profound synergy of the mind-body-spirit approach to healing.

I view my work with clients as an honor and an opportunity to help each person find hope and new life in healing.
